The town of Carloforte
Carloforte ahead, located on the small Isole di San Pietro. It’s the only town on this island and it’s named after Charles Emmanuel III of Savoy. He resettled the island in 1738, after being deserted for centuries, with Genoese fugitives from the North African island of Tabarka. – Encyclopaedia Britannica
